Which insurance plans does Smile Art accept?

Smile Art accepts all PPO dental plans. Coverage, network status, deductibles, and annual maximums vary from plan to plan, so our team checks the details of your specific plan. Call (206) 325-7200 with your plan information before your visit.

How does benefit verification work?

1. Share your plan details. Give our team your insurance company, member ID, and the name of the plan holder when you schedule.
2. We verify your benefits. Our team confirms your coverage before your appointment, including exams, cleanings, and X-rays.
3. Review any recommended treatment. If Dr. Lee recommends additional care, our team reviews your expected coverage for that treatment with you before it begins.

What affects the cost of your care?

There is not one set price for dental care because what you pay depends on the care you receive and on your dental benefits. Your plan's deductible, its coverage level for each type of service, and its annual maximum all shape what you pay. Our team explains these amounts for any recommended treatment before it begins.

Which financing options are available?

Smile Art offers financing through three lenders, so out-of-pocket expenses can be paid in monthly installments:

• CareCredit, a health care credit card that can be used for dental treatment
• Cherry, a patient payment plan with monthly payment options
• LendingClub, patient financing with fixed monthly payments

Each lender sets its own application, approval, and terms, and our team can explain how to apply.

What if you do not have dental insurance?

Patients without dental insurance can schedule exams, cleanings, and any other care Smile Art provides. Our team reviews the cost of your visit and of any recommended treatment with you in advance. Financing through CareCredit, Cherry, or LendingClub can spread those expenses into monthly payments.

How can you make the most of your dental benefits?

Many dental plans reset their annual maximum at the start of each plan year, and preventive care is often covered at a higher level than other services. Our team can show you how your remaining benefits apply to recommended treatment. When it suits your plan, Dr. Lee can discuss completing larger treatment in stages.
