Who is Dr. Jaime Lee?
Jaime Lee, DDS, FICOI
Dr. Jaime Lee earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University in 2002 after studying fine art as an undergraduate. Her art background informs her attention to proportion, symmetry, shade, and the overall appearance of your smile when planning restorations.
Dr. Lee is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists with advanced implant training through the Kois Center, Pacific Implant Institute, Pacific Implant Academy, and Live Implant Training with Dr. Mongalo. Her additional training includes sedation and pain management through OHSU and DOCS Education, TMD and orofacial pain, neuromuscular orthodontics, and sleep apnea treatment.
Dr. Lee provides routine dental care alongside restorative, cosmetic, implant, and other treatment offered at Smile Art.
What technology is available at Smile Art?
Our office has CBCT (3D dental imaging), digital scanning, and CAD/CAM technology for designing and making same-day crowns. Dr. Lee selects imaging and treatment methods based on the care being planned, and same-day crowns are available when appropriate.
When should you call for emergency dental care?
If you have tooth pain, a broken tooth, an injury, or swelling, call Smile Art during office hours and describe your symptoms. We can discuss the next available appointment. If swelling makes it hard to breathe or swallow, call 911 or go to an emergency department now.
How can we help with dental anxiety?
If you experience dental anxiety, please let us know when you call. Dr. Lee can discuss your concerns and explain options for sedation and pacing to help make your visit more comfortable.
Dr. Lee has completed sedation and pain-management training through OHSU and DOCS Education.
Dr. Lee is trained in light to moderate conscious sedation and is current on her continuing education. For treatment needing deeper or IV sedation, she works with an anesthesiologist.
